CBM-1 | Microphone for cajon and bass drum
The CBM-1 Cajon microphone was developed exclusively for the Salzburg Cajon manufacturer „PUR Cajon“. The requirement was to be able to mike a Cajon as easily as possible and reproduce it in a lifelike manner on every PA (acoustic system). It goes without saying that these requirements have been consistently and uncompromisingly implemented through our many years of experience in the development and construction of microphones. In close cooperation with PUR’s Cajon specialists, another special microphone with the best features for good live performance and high road capability was developed.
The CBM-1 can be connected to any conventional mixing console with 48V phantom power and extended with microphone cables (XLR cables).
Our Cajon microphone CBM-1 works like a conventional boundary microphone, making it ideal for use in a bass drum. Even with a bass drum (kick) you get an extremely powerful, crisp sound without having to make any further adjustments on the mixer.
